Twitches Too takes place almost immediately after the events of the first movie, Twitches, and it seems that while the pair have vanquished Thantos and The Darkness and saved Coventry, another evil seems to be looming. This time, the evil is coming from The Shadow Lands.

For those that didn't see the first movie, a group that I fit into, the film does a fairly good job of giving you a recap of the previous film so you don't feel too left behind. Basically, Tia and Tamera Mowry play twin witches (get it - "twitches") who were born in another dimension, split up in birth and grew up in our world. Tamera's character (Camryn) is a well-raised rich girl, while Tia's (Alex) has had a less-than-optimal life. The two learn of their past and help save their homeland from an evil leader. That is a much abbreviated plot synopsis, but that seems to be all you really need to know for this sequel.

On the day that Alex decides to start her college career, their protectors return from Coventry to bring the girls back and prepare them for Thantos' apparent attempt to once again take over the land. To make things interesting, while Camryn is jumping feet first into Princesshood, Alex is more interested in college and Camryn's ex-boyfriend. But Thantos isn't the only mystery the girls are going to have to solve since they are both getting visions of their long lost (and believed dead) father Aron.

As far as acting is concerned, you get about what you expect from a made-for-TV Disney movie. It isn't the best in the world, but it is good for the whole family and enjoyable. Like I said earlier, I didn't see the first movie, but I enjoyed this movie enough to take notice the next time I have an opportunity to watch Twitches.
